Many clearcoats are sensitive to temperature. It is therefore essential to limit the polishing pressure of the buff in order to prevent the coating from overheating. Polishing compounds for furniture clearcoats have to cool the surface. They have to do produce an excellent high gloss in a short time and at low polishing pressure.
